y would sum1 think the IOW is the only place with waves? no1 actually said that! but it is very true that we get way more swell here than most of the south coast but that doesnt always mean its better here, just usually a lot bigger.

I think that once a year there should be a big wave comp held at Freshwater or Chilton Reef.As it is hard to predict the conditions in advance there should be a waiting period between October and January.When the charts are showing a large swell
